Changing Volvo 440 - Bruce
My dad has an "M" plate Volvo 440 2 litre auto, which has served him well. He would like to change it for a newer car. The Volvo 70's don't fit in his garage. He needs an auto, would like heated front seats. He will use the car for going to and from his static caravan about 170 miles 12-14 times a year. He does not like my Focus estate. What do the Back Room recommend?

He is 74 this year so would like good access.
Re: Changing Volvo 440 - Lee H
Depends upon how much he wishes to spend, but the Audi A3 can be specified with heated seats and has good access in the 3dr version. But for relatively low mileages, it may be an expensive option.

Good Luck,
Lee.

As it suits him so well, why not keep it? It's worth next-to-nothing as a part-ex, so just carry on running it.

If the 70's are too big, how about the 40's?

How about a Saab 9-3 heated seats and Swedish and not that expensive
