Can anyone help ref sourcing a supplier of full length, i.e. with the rear seats folded flat, load liner? I think Ford used to do one for the Mk 1 Mondeo, but have not come across one since.

We have a Shogun Sport in which we transport several dogs. Mitsubishi advertise 2 load area liners (seats up), a rigid one costing a 3-figure sum, and a flexible one which the local dealer tells me isn't available! It is the flexible one we are after, but ideally for the full length.
Google throws up some USA suppliers, but nothing UK.

thanks

I made one myself (Volvo) out of thin sheet plywood. The side and end bits are laced to the floor section with nylon cord, and the corners locked with Velcro. The whole thing folds flat so normally takes up no space in the garage.
Painted to match the car interior, it cost virtually nothing using scrap materials.

I had one for my Vectra estate, ordered it with the car, about £50 IIRC, very useful.

Look at www.roofbox.co.uk - lot of information regarding differing types of liners. I've found them most helpful if you need to give them a ring.

The advantage of making your own is that you can fully customise it to your own requirements. You may want the side pieces higher, or lower, or only really need a floor. You could even decide whether you actually wanted it to cover the entire floor, or may be shape it so that one of the seats stayed unfolded and the box fitted round it. Do you need a lip by the tailgate, or want it flat for sliding things in? Do you want a folding lip, or fixed?
I wanted to be able to fill the back with logs, or bricks, without spoiling the seats, so I needed sides that were quite high. On the other hand it has to take up no space at all when not in use.

If it needs odd shapes to clear door grabs etc, cut out the board and glue canvas loosely over the hole.

The only disadvantage is that colleagues who see it want me to make one for them too!
