There was a thread some weeks ago about where the name for the new Fiat Croma came from.
Must be an acronym, something like
Crushing Residuals: Owners Mostly Angry.

This kind of thing has obviously been going on for a few years at least: Like the old Daewoo Lanos, which obviously stood for
Looks Are Not Our Strength.
