4 cylinder petrol jeep cherokee 101k miles regularly serviced and running well. Oil pressure is always maintained but when hot and 'pressing on' the oil pressure climbs (flutters) virtually off the clock. It is at its highest when the throttle is rolled off. There are no oil leaks or loss and no oil in the water.
I can't find an accessible pressure relief valve that I could clean and the manual is not helpful on this point.
I've tried ignoring it but it makes me anxious...Any advice??
