European breakdown cover - Quinny
Off to France next week for 10 days,and am looking for European cover to supplement my UK cover.

My current company want too much,so I'm looking for an alternative.

Car is a 99 Peugeot 406 2.0HDI.

I am with Norwich Union - They extended my cover from UK to Europe for the rest of the year [November] for less than £10.

Don't forget to get your UK insurance cover extended to France too - unless you want to drive on minimum cover levels = 3rd party.

If you think your present company's extra is too much I don't think you will find a one-off policy for 10 days any cheaper. The AA's cover is about £10 a day - for you that is £100. Surely that is more than the extra you were quoted by your present lot? How much was the extra, as a matter of interest?
