A petrolheads delight there, HJ. I am DiYing today in order to spend tomorrow in front of the box without any hurtful comments about my apparant inactivity.
Only annoyance is that the Moto Gp is not live, thay are running about an hour behind the race. A voluntary backroom agreement not to spill the beans by those with Eurosport is called for.
Well done BBC, Laguna Seca is potentially the highlight of the bike season and we only get higlights.

Not there this year, My first miss in three years. All those there - have a good time.
1/ Nice to see JB on the front row - how much fuel in there tho Jens?
2/ Wow never seen F1 cars set up so soft, all could be seen leaning in the bends, Even thought the Renault might cock a rear wheel!

Anyone see the interview with Max Moseley before qualifying? What an arrogant person he is. He should have not have been alowed to return to F1 after he retired last year.

Every bit of the grand prix I watched was boring, nothing much happening. So much so that I kept leaving the TV to go out into the garden.
However, I came back in for the final lap and the commentator thanking the drivers for serving up a brilliant spectacle?
What did I miss in excitement?

What did I miss in excitement?
Not a lot. As per usual most of the overtaking was done during the pitstops.

I was debating whether to watch the race or cut the grass.
Wish I'd cut the grass.

If there's one form of racing to watch, it is the bikes at Laguna Seca. Rossi has complained that most of the track is dangerous, and the rest is very dangerous. Fogerty used to hate the place and watching riders on the corkscrew can be terrifying. It used to scare me during Superbikes 2001 on the pc, I'd be frightened to even walk round it in real life.
Short run offs and concrete blocks on the perimeter. No place for the faint hearted.
