Common problem, but I am not sure of the solution.
The front windows are running slow and squeaking. They need, ahem, a bit of ´lube´.
The available lubricants include:
KY jelly
15w/40
Washing up liquid
Chain grease
Light bike oil
Vaseline.
Combination of any of the above.
Thanks for any ideas!!

Different car, but same manufacturer. I would imagine the suggestions for the solution are the same though:-

Many thanks Dynamic Dave. I figured the subject might have been covered before.

For the runners, nothing beats a silicon spray. Grease and oil, WD40 etc all work for a few minutes, but a liberal spraying of 'Back to black' or any similar plastic renovator works for months.

Barchettaman do you smoke? If you do then the glass probably just needs cleaning. You'd be surprised how dirty they get, and they do tend to stick on the weather strips.
If you don't smoke try cleaning the glass anyway with a good glass cleaner before you start stripping door trims off and lubricating the regulator and channels.
