Can someone tell me if it is ok to use copper grease on the brake shoe assembly...ie. pivots points,self adjuster threads etc. cheers.

Use it sparingly. Do not get it onto any surface of the brake pad material - including sides and back. Grease compounds can leach through brake pad material affecting braking performance.

The proper stuff is ok. Beware of the the budget stuff though, more copper coloured than copper content - you might as well use ordinary grease. Most manufacturers still use white brake grease on brake backplates.

It is worth pointing out the difference between copper slip and normal lithium grease. Copper slip is an anti-sieze compound not a lubricant. Normal lithium high temperature grease is for lubricating.
