1993 rover 218 sld, fuel cutoff solenoid - rover 218sld
Hello,

I have a 93 Rover 218 sld which fails to turn off the engine at the key. I understand this could be a problem with the fuel cutoff solenoid - after checking on tinternet what one looks like where would be the best place on the car to start looking for it.

On some 200 series the solenoid was behind the vertical centre trim on the dash (near the bottom).

Is this the cutoff solenoid to the Peugeot diesel engine? It is on the diesel pump itself, if this is what you are after. You will need a deep thin socket to get it off
