Todays question is, does anyone know where the battery compartment is located on new shape transits???
I ve looked in all the obvious places, but............
Please Help.

battery under drivers seat.There is a charging point under bonnet below red plastic cover.

I found the charging point, im fitting an inverter to give me 230 volts in the back of the van for battery charging etc,

As the Doc says, it's under the drivers seat, also room for a second battery if needed. As for the underbonnet connector under the red cover, it's supposed to be for jump starting but doesn't work too well. It's ok if you use the donor vehicle to charge the flat battery for ten mins. - but when using a slave battery it's best to connect straight to the battery terminals.
