A friend of mine is urgently wanting to obtain maps of USA (especially for Florida) to use on his Tom Tom Go when he uses a hire car over there shortly.
Tom Tom have told him that the old version maps have been discontinued but that the new ones are not yet available!
He has tried E-Bay without success.
Can anyone come up with a solution other than the suggestion which I would make...ie...that he takes the sat-nav with him in the hope that he can purchase the necessary SD card states-side?

He could hire a car out there with Sat Nav. Frankly tho the american freeway system is so good, that despite the poor maps its easy to navigate about. Specially in Florida.

I thought the US maps were only available on CD and for the tomtom go 300??.

Has your friend tried logging on to ebay.com as opposed to ebay.co.uk?

E-mewl is a peer to peer file sharing network. Not exactly a legal way to obtain software.
