Some years ago there was a clip from "Police, camera, action!" where a dog was 'driving' along a carriageway in Denmark or Sweden in a an old Volvo.

Thats a good one there smokie, perhaps if fit those 'easireach' pedal extensions Hj has mentioned to an old mini automatic, Rover maybe able to drive to the shops by himself!

Reminds me of when I was paying for petrol a few years ago, and my Old English Sheepdog leaped into the front passenger seat.
The cashier did a double take and said "Oh, it's a dog! I thought you had a nice blonde bit in the car."
I was very offended.
"She IS a nice blonde bit!" I said.
I think I left him feeling rather sheepish.
