Nissan Almera 2002, the car drifts to the left so when your are driving the steering wheel is off centre.
Also when braking very heavily from 70 down to 50 the car swerves across the lane, sounds stupid but I dont know which way it swerved as I was too busy trying to correct it, it was quite severe. The car is running on good condition dunlop tyres with disc brakes front and rear.
Anyone any ideas?

It sounds like a brake binding to me. If you think the pull to the left is more than a normal reaction to road camber then it may well be the left hand front calliper assembly. It's a shame you can't remember which way it swerved. If the left brake is binding, it could have been warmer than the right, and achieved more braking effort, making the drift worse. It obviously needs sorting out asap, especially with the current changable road conditions.
PS Trust the tyre pressures are OK?

If your N/S/F caliper is not releasing correctly. This will cause it..If assuming severe pull to near side.would suggest O/S/F caliper is not working correctly..On 2002 model I would find hard to believe?.Though not impossible. Is it still under warranty??
