I was watching the Simpsons last night and cracked up when the following happened...
Homer and his family were on safari in Africa and Marge and the kids were shouting with excitement at all the animals strolling across the savannah with a huge setting sun behind them.
And what did Homer do? He got his camera out and took a picture of the jeeps speedo-the mileometer had just clocked up 10000 exactly and he thought that was much better!!
Made me laugh :0)

You need to get out more.

Awwww sorry Pete
I'll put my sense of humour back in its box then ;0p

Oh dear.
SWMBO's bargain BX TD Estate is proving a challenge to keep on the road and wasn't quite the car we expected at purchase this summer.
My main motivation for nursing it along is to see the mileometer reach 250,000 and take a photo.
Then, in the traditional Fenland manner, we'll park it on the front lawn and get another.

Come on, lets have the gory details ...
Or are you worried you might trigger a tirade from the antis?
|
|
DW, why dont you just clock the mileometer to 250,000 and then take a photo.
|
Simple, I don't deceive fellow enthusiasts.

£250 or thereabouts, complete with free doggy hairs was it not?
Exactly what were you expecting - years of trouble free motoring?

John,
I'll have you know there were a couple of repairs needed and it now stands £320 all in. That's serious money in the BX world.
You can see why I expect a bit more life from it yet.

Crikey, I didn't know you'd emptied the piggy bank completely.
You're right, can't turn it into a garden ornament yet. Must be years of life left!
Regards
John
PS I've just spent more than that on a years insurance for the ***

I'm still trying to work out what a MIMSER is.
|
Me too, but it didn't sound like he wanted to be asked.

Welll, at least he didn't get OUT of the vehicle to take pictures. :)
It happens, It happens... and we lose a few tourists each year to lions, leopards etc.
In fact, a leopard can jump on a human and bite off the head in about 1 second. (They practise on Baboons, y'know!)
