I am experiencing progressively worse 'jerkiness' with the CVT auto transmission fitted to my Escort 1.6i LX.
Does anyone have any experience with problems, or the longevity of Ford's CVT transmission ?

Hi,
I too found the same problem with my car(daewoo Espero), where in I found the problem is due to the Distributor, whose copper windings insulation packed up. Perhaps this might help u.
