Wheel alignment: Milton Keynes - smokie
Can anyone recommend a good place to get wheels aligned in or near MK? I am here on business for a few days and want to get the camber/toe-in etc checked, not just basic tracking.

Benny's in Leighton Buzzard.
At 1st glance they look like a bunch of louts :) but they know their stuff and are very good, pretty cheap as well adn I@ve always got the keenest local tyre prices from them.

Camden Motors, the Vauxhall dealer in Leighton Buzzard.

They have a proper four wheel alignment pit, and know how to use it. Efficiently discovered and fixed (adjusted out) a problem that had eluded many other outfits beforehand (Front strut with incorrect camber by a few minutes, not degrees).

Top work, but normal dealer rates apply.

I've been to Milton Keynes a couple of times - I certainly wouldn't want to align my tyres in its direction again for some time...:-)

How do you put up with all those roundabouts and dreary seemingly all concrete environment?

As it happens time didn't permit a visit, but thanks for the info.

I am likely to be there again (groan) and need someone just like SjBs suggestion as I have a very elusive problem - a rubbing noise with each wheel rotation - bearings have just been changed, during which it was pointed out the n/s front has severe wear around the inner edge for about 1". So whether the camber etc is out I'm not sure, and if it is, I'm not sure whether that would make this noise...but I am on a mission to get the problem cured now
