HJ's FAQs - Antifreeze advice - Ppaul
Having recently read the above I noticed that the advice for Japanese cars is: "Ethylene Glycol: Low- or no-silicate formulation".

Since I have been driving my 1995 Primera for 3 years with the normal stuff in the cooling system, might I have done some damage? Furthermore, I had a head gasket replacement done last year - any connection?

Should I definitely replace it with genuine stuff from Nissan in future? (I intend to replace it before next winter anyway)

Thanks in advance

Paul
