Renault Traffic 5th gear noise

Renault Traffic 5th gear noise - Hugo {P}
A slight noise has developed on the 5th gear of my Traffic, when a load is applied.

It is an audible whining sound, not too loud though.

Van has done 185K and has been well looked after by previous owners.

Should I be concerned?

Should I double check gearbox oil?

Should I put it down to character?

Should I just put it down - especially as there is a VW Transporter for 2K same year in the village?

Any help appreciated.
