Actually for drain inspection, trying to locate/detect possible leaks in unreachable underfloor areas. I seem to have fixed the two I can see and JUSTreach, at least for now, but am concerned there may be others.

Its possible I might also want to use it in an automotive context, but I no longer have a car, so probably unlikely.

I'd guess the plumbing context might require longer reach.

Saw one in Lidl a couple of weeks ago but they'll likely have sold out by now so it'll probably be sourced on't nyet.

One with a steerable end might be more useful so you can aim the camera at the object if interest.

Probably would be, but Edinburgh Tool Library allegedly have a TesLong MS-450 NTC available for borrowing, so I'll try and get hold of that first.

Maybe no good for leak looking, but might locate any blockages that are perhaps contributing to the leaks.

Is Ed back in the UK now?

Yeh,

Just temporarily for now, though there is pressure from the SO to repatriate permanently.

Call this SUMMER?

Apart from that, my reluctance relates (much more than it probably should) to the near impossibility of car (and boat) ownership here for me now.

Difficult in Taiwan, but perhaps not impossible. OTOH the chronic winter air pollution there is a pain.

Decisions, decisions...
