Vauxhall Corsa 2012 - Radiator fan doesn't turn on - Michal Rajda

Hello, I've had a problem with a blown out coolant hose and now that I've replaced it the radiator fan doesn't turn on. Yesterday the radiator fan turned on as soon as I turned the car on. The coolant temp today was at 108 highest and no fan turned on.

These have a 2 speed fan . Have you checked the fuses and relays? You may find it’s not working on one speed . Also are you sure the cooling system has been bled properly? Does the heater blow hot ?

A friend had this problem on the same vehicle, similar age.

if you disconnect the temperature sensor by the airbox the fan should come on.

It turns out the fan does kick in until 105-110 Celsius. It works fine It just wasn't hot enough
