Ipad - Deceased persons Ipad has to be sc***ped - London calling

Hi, my deceased uncle left me an iPad, due to no one knowing his Apple ID and password it can’t be used. Asked at a local Apple Store for advise, after checking it out they are unable to do anything with it and won’t take it in to be destroyed due to activation lock. Seems crazy that the only solution is to break up a perfectly good iPad.

How many other Apple products around the world are being destroyed due to similar circumstances?

There seem to be ways to get round this, e.g. via iCloud, or maybe passixer.

If it had been an Android, a factory reset would be really easy. Apparently an IPad is s little more difficult, but only a little.

Go to your local High street, usually Asian, mobile store, to get them to reset, dont go to Apple unless you want to pay big bucks
