I've a wishbone balljoint that isn't coming out , I've whacked it with hammer with hub jacked up but , still nothing , hub isn't attached to anything except driveshaft .

I balljoint splitters won't work on ut , since the taper is enclosed in the buckle.

also I've a inner tierod I need to replace since it's bent. I've tried to take end off , but the nut just spins , how's best to tackle this

Fit a complete new wishbone with ball joint . Release the rubber boot on the rack to hold the steering gear .

AKA "Hockey Stick"

Never used one, but they have featured in some South Main Auto repair videos.

MIGHT be improvisable, or they are about 30 quid with free postage.
