Speed Awareness Course - movilogo

Is it only offered to those who got a point?

or anyone can do this?

Surely if this is good enough it should be shared in public domain - at least a YouTube video?

They'll probably let you go on one if you pay the course fee. Whilst they're not bad. I wouldn't recommend it as entertainment.

I think its usually offered if you've only got low speed fixed penalty (SP30) AND you've not had any others in past 3 years.

As for videos, there's plenty around, like the channel below for example.

Everyone can and should refresh themselves now and again. The only difference with a Speed Awareness course is that you're forced to watch the videos.

In order to prove to my daughter I was safe and competent i took an 'elderly drivers assessment' a few years ago, the ex-traffic cop who took me out for an hour suggested I take the IAM advanced test (which I did and passed).

The first drive was useful for the tips and advice given, which were useful preparation for the IAM test.

From memory both of these cost the same or less than speed awareness courses.
