n/a - Any news on when Euro 7 emission standards start? - focussed

I understand from a news item that the proposed introduction of Euro 7emission standards has been postponed until 2030 by the EU.

I can't find any recent reference to this on HJ or national news sites in the UK.

Has anybody heard/seen anything to confirm that?

I found a reference to the postponed to 2030 date in France.

Seems funny that the UK is sticking with 2025, Normally the UK just agrees with everything the EU comes out with.

I’m not sure how we implement the regulations five years before the EU - no manufacturer is going to develop new technology for the UK alone, then roll it out for the rest of the EU 60 months later.
