Reported in Autocar. There have been 6 S3's and TT's affected so far.
If you have one of these, phone your dealer and get them to collect it, don't drive it. Lower radius arm snaps and the wheel folds in. Can happen at any speed. That's the S3 off my list then......

See the Car by Car Breakdown under Audi A3 and the news on this site which gives a number to call. This is now an official recall, but only affects cars built up to March 2000.

Remember the 3 wheel reliants whose front wheel and suspension had a habit of collapsing as the glassfibre fatigued!

...and the Morris Minor...

This place is a great memory jerker, yes, those Moggies lame by the side of the road with a front wheel at 45 degrees. It seemed like there was one a week on my way to work. Didn't it affect other BL cars too?

Morrie Minors have torsion bar front suspension. When the torsion bar end mounting on the crossmember rusts, that's when the car develops severe negative camber.
