2000 VW POlo gti 16v air con ,climate .
Air blower will only blow hi or low not to a specific temp e.g 20 degrees (hot or cold nothing in between)you can hear heater flap open and close.
Any ideas ?worth a visit to vw or independant air con specialist.
Is it serious or just a sensor?

The interior temp sensor may have gone awol, and you'll need someone with the VAG kit to check its output versus temperature. However, the last one I saw doing this needed a new climate ecu. I think they're only about £700 fitted.
There was another thread on this site about repairing them, so do a search and have a look.
