At that sort of price it seems a lot of car for the money. Given the damage and the fact that it's an import though i wouldn't have thought it would be that easy to sell on. Not a problem if you're going to keep it for a while though.

The only other potential problem is spares, although there's not many imports which you can't get spares for these days. But they are a bit more hassle to get hold of.

At this sort of money if it drives fine - I'd take it.
Toyota have a good reliability record - I would check out the availability of basic spares - oil filter, etc from a Japanese import specialist.

Also make sure that the car has the correct import licences, I'm a bit suspicious about the speedo still being in KM.

If you check his previous transactions you'll note he is basically a car trader. Not necessarily a bad point but check out the car before parting with your cash. Also check your insurance, you may find this will cost you far more than the car.
