Struggling to understand what I'm seeing on the video.
The latch that engages when you close the boot is usually, even if operated electrically rather than a direct mechanical link, reasonably easy to 'frig' with a screwdriver or whatever so that it releases.
Is the latch fastened or is something else preventing the tailhatch from lifting even when it's free?
Over various cars down the last 35+ years we've had boots stick shut occasionally but the cause is pretty well invariably something like a bag or strap caught somewhere. Usually in the mechanism but occasionally elsewhere.
