Bridge height. Chester/Saltney - Quinny
This may seem a strange request, but is there anyone on this forum who lives in the Chester/Saltney area?

The reason I ask is because on Friday,I will be delivering to Saltney, pulling a 15ft 6in double deck trailer, and I need to know what height the bridge is on High St,Saltney.

The last time I delivered around this area was about 8 years ago with a rather smaller 11ft rigid vehicle, and if I can get under the bridge,it will save me having to go via the A55.

I can't seem to find a website with UK bridge heights,so I'm hoping someone can help.

Thanks

If no help from the forum how about a call to the local police unless of course you get sent round the switching centre loop.
Else the county council would know.

The Dept of Transport says "Remember that only bridges with less than 16'3" safe clearance will be marked on a map". If you don't have a map, that's not much help, but it's news to me and perhaps it will help others.
