There doesn't appear to be much difference in performance on paper between these two engines.
has anyone driven both & know if the 2 litre is really worth the extra insurance fuel etc?

hi i now have a 1.8 duratec but on a 02 but used to own 52 2.0 and find that 2.0 is better on fuel than the 1.8 nothing really in the power bracket 2.0 just edges it in my point of veiw

The 2.0 feels livlier and is also likely to be more economical.
