It would probably come under the section of a minor fault , intensity not in accordance with requirements. So a pass and advise . What car is it ?

I just wanted to know if this issue would come into an MOT, and I couldn't see a definitive answer when looking online.

It's not simply a matter of popping in new bulbs to resolve the problem unfortunately. I wish things were that easy :-(

Have referred to the appropriate owners club forum, where this manufacturer has its fair share of gremlins.

A persnickety MOT tester might say something if it wasn't working properly or bulb was fainter.

Got to the (your make) (your model) (your year) owners club forum and you will see others with similar problems, DRL's incorporated in the headlights and mistaken for sidelights.
