Audi Q5 - DVLA and buying a pcp out - Halmerend
I’ve recently terminated my pcp and purchased my vehicle. I have a letter from Audi Finance confirming this. Do I have to inform the DVLA that I am now the legal owner or is it only interested in the vehicle’s registered keeper? Thanks.

For the DVLA you are the registered keeper.

The V5 is not proof of ownership.

you can do a HPI check to see if there is a finance marker, but keep hold of the letter.

If you are the registered keeper, on the Log Book, then there is no reason to contact the DVLA.

You might need to advise your insurance company that you, and not the finance company, now own the vehicle.
