Porsche Boxster Insurance? - pdc {P}
Anyone care to have a stab at a rough minimum price it would cost for a 47 year old guy, living just outside Bolton, solicitor by trade, to insure a 52 reg Porsche Boxter. No idea of the model, so lets say the most basic. Is a Group 20 car.

Am asking on behalf of his ex who is seeking maintenance, and wants a rough calculation of what it is costing to run his car, as the CSA dont take that into account.

Read in paper other day that R** F*rd*n*nd pays £15K+ to insure his Bentley. Just think - that's about 2 days' pay!

A lot depends on your post code area. For a 31-year old living in Essex I paid about £750 for a 52-reg Boxster S last renewal (with full NCB) with Admiral.

Some insurers insist on a tracker with the Boxster and also make sure you list any options fitted.
