SEAT Ateca - Timing belt - Michael Maddison

I was wondering if I could ask a few Learned minds as to how much a timing belt change on a 17 plate Seat Ateca ecomotive should cost as I reckon the £600 I've been quoted by the dealer seems a bit silly. Any ideas?

But the one about the Leon is a TSi. Pretty sure the Ecomotive that tis poster has will be a diesel. Different engines could mean different prices.

Just checked, the I.6 TDi is badged as the eco motive but the 1.0 TSi is also badged as the eco motive.

Since the other thread is about a 4 cylinder petrol its not really relevant to either eco motive.
