C3 Picasso - Battery Change - kerbed enthusiasm

The battery is just about managing in this cold weather and is ready for a change. Does anyone know if there anything that's likely to be affected when I do the swap - key codes, radio, etc? I've not had a problem swapping a battery in years but it's always worth an ask!

Not much to worry about . You’ll need to reset the centre radio/ info display . Also once the new battery is installed, switch on ignition for a few minutes without trying to start the engine . This will allow the body control module to sort itself out .

You need to perform a BSI reset when swapping batteries.

Radios are VIN coded to the ECU.

Yikes. I didn't receive notification of this but it was all done very steadily so, with the exception of switching on the headlights, the procedure was followed. All seems well. Thank you for your response and I hope that it proves useful to others.
