Audi A3 Sportback - Audi A3 2022 Passive Misfire on all 4 cylinders - Andy777

Audi A3 35 TFSI Sport, 3 months old and 1500 miles.

Recovered to dealer after intermittent then full loss of power. Start and Drive system fault messages.

Audi recovery said misfire on all 4 cylinders, possible software issue.

Dealer can't replicate fault, so say its ok. I feel like I'm being fobbed off. Anyone had issues with A3's misfiring. Very p***ed as only 3 months old.

Any advice welcome, thanks.

You are Indeed being fobbed off. Personally, I would ask for a full refund immediately.

Probably is just the firmware needs updating, but I imagine Audi dealers are the same as VW and Porsche and will just keep fobbing you off in the hope that either you or the problem magically disappear.

Couldn’t agree more . Wait until it happens again and reject the car as not fit for purpose.

Fobbing off is standard practice at VAG dealers I'm afraid,

Reject asap. Despite 100+ years since being invented the VAG group are still unable to produce a reliable internal combustion engine,
