You're effectively paying twice for it then, once in the cost of the car and again in the monthly payments - and what happens if there is a dispute or it fails.
Say for example, the seats don't heat up, will BMW just refund the £15 for that month and not charge further or will they be obliged to fix the seat at whatever cost that is (which could be a lot for an airbag, heated, electrically adjusted, lumbar supported, leather seat. They might just say - sorry, we don't want to offer that service to you any more.
Also, you hear cases of Amazon banning customers for using their services (too many returns or daring to do a chargeback on the credit card). Can you imaging in BMW of similar cut all of the key services from your car because of a dispute (satnav in the middle of a long trip, aircon in the summer etc).
Better, IMHO for BMW to advertise, all our cars now include heated seats at no extra cost.
