Citroen C4 Grand Picasso - Unable to MOT due to mileage display - Craig Greatbatch

My car was in for service and MOT yesterday and I received a message telling me they could not do the MOT as the display has a fault that covers the top corner of the last number of the mileage. It will not allow me to post the picture here but the full mileage can be seen it just has a black mark over the very top corner of the last digit but you can see that no other numbers follow.

Unable to read the mileage display is not an mot fail . Ask to see the mot testers manual to verify.

The last digit is pretty unimportant anyway - the first or second might present a problem !

The government website has access to the manual. Just Google “mot testing manual” or similar. As others have said it’s not a reason to fail. In fact I can’t see any reference to odometers at all but I only had a quick look.
