Suzuki Baleno SZ5 Automatic - Suzuki automatic gearboxes - Twinks

I have had 3 Swifts and a Baleno over the last 12 years - all bought new

All TC Automatics and the 6 speed Baleno gearbox has been absolutely brilliant and faultless - it doesn't hang on to 3rd gear as the old gearboxes did

It averages over 50mpg and is super smooth and instant changing

I would like to know why Suzuki have decided to stop using the torque convertor box and instead move to a slow changing automated manual box on (all ?) cars

I was considering my next car was to be a Vitara but not now - the Hybrid models now come with the same poor excuse for a gearbox (automated manual)

Thought the Baleno had a automated manual box? Fairly sure the one I drove for a day did? Does/did yours have the column mounted shift paddles?

No - the 2017 Baleno has a TC box - 6 speed with optional paddles

Same as the previous Swift !

its super smooth and gives sweet changes as well as decent MPG
