Toyota MR2 1992 - Radio code for a Toyota MR2 Mk2 - Ex Alfa mail

Apologies for asking what may seem a trivial question but it would mean a lot to me to have the original radio working again. We have spent a lot of time and effort restoring an MR2 MK2 to a lovely condition. It has the original radio and CD player in place and it needs a code to reset it. We've looked through all the documentation, asked on the owners forums and even asked the local dealer and there doesn't seem to be a way to reboot it. The answers range from get a new head unit to "wow, that car is older than me". Does anyone here know if it is possible to find a code or reactivate it in some way? It really would be great finishing touch to what is a lovely car. Many thanks.

What make of radio is it ? If it’s a factory fit unit , then likely to be a Fujitsu ten model .

It is the factory fit and branded Toyota. Unfortunately I have no idea who the manufacturer is. The is very little technical information in the user manual. Sorry.

The radio will need to be removed to establish the make, model and serial number. Hopefully there’s a way to find the code with this information.

Thank you for your advice. I have just been told the code is a three digit number that is the same as the style code on the inside front page of the owner's handbook. Whether that is the case for all Toyota radios I can't say but it worked in my case. Thank you again.
