Heh, that's good. Many of the car's 'futuristic' features become a reality pretty quickly such as 4WS (which the Nissan 300ZX had in 1988/89) and satnav. The styling actually looked a bit like the early 2000s Honda Insight hybrid, too.
In 1987 the Honda Prelude became the first production car to use 4WS (though Honda wisely decided to stick with a physical steering column rather than relying on electronics like the Pontiac!).
The Insight came out in 1999.
