Hi all
I’ve just built two new front suspension legs and I’m wondering if I should be following the markings on the top of the top mounts. I know the mount markings (arrow, tab and green dot) are relevant with some models, but don’t’ know about this one. Does anyone know what the arrow, dot or tab should be pointing to (i.e. front or back of the body or at the engine or whatever)?
There’s nothing in the Haynes manual, so clocking position may not be relevant, but I need to know for sure. Picture below.
Cheers
PS - Hm, not sure the photo came out, can't see how to attach it. On top of the mount there is an arrow, a painted green dot and a protruding tab about 7mm long and 10m wide on the edge of the mount.
FYI - It's this one:

Hello mate, are there any marking on the body of the car? On my fiesta there were marks from the previous top mounts so I just followed these. To be honest I can't see it making any difference as the mounts are symmetrical other than those little tabs.
