VW Passat 1.9TDI - 2001 VW Passat 1.9TDI clutch hydraulic problem - Graham Penlington

I have a 2001 1.9tdi Passat and the adaptor which goes between the hydraulic pipe and the slave cylinder of the clutch had broken. VW say part is no longer made. Does anyone know where I might find one, or a solution using different slave maybe?

Thanks for the response, I tried that, the trouble is I don't know the official name for the part. I have also tried scrapyards but as it is such a small part I don't think they even bother to look.

I think you are going to need the whole pipe from the master to the slave cylinder that incorporates this coupling.

Perhaps consult an agricultural engineer. They have all sorts of hydraulic couplings and may be able to 'lash up' something for you.

If you can take a photo of the part then one of the on-line breakers should at least be able to tell you what the actual part is called. I've used VW Audi Breakers Melksham years ago who were very helpful, I'm not sure if they are still trading but might be worth investigating.
