I have just received a text message that shouts out "SCAM" from the moment it was received.
Coming from mobile number +447398230835
Narrative: "DVLA: We have recalculated your vehicle tax. You are owed £48.84 due to overpayment, visit dvlaroadtaxrebate.co to claim your refund now"
My only comment "not on your Nellie"

Take care everyone, the ingenious methods used by scammers to get their hands on your money know no limits.
On most phone numbers I have checked out of which I have had a record number this week, they all seem to come from India, and one nearly caught my 86 year old fil out on the DVLA call, as he has not used his car due to ill health and assumed they new about it
after he got the call it was an indian who said fil was owed money, but he said how can he be owed if the car is standing on the road, caller put the phone down
Lots of other scammers about either e`mail or phone calls and e`mail are getting more realistic day after day so as said be carefull!!
