I have a Fiat Brava P Reg with a radio model AD 182 H.
I bought the car from Auto Italia in Kingston two years ago and the radio code was never in the Fiat pack which contained everything else - warranty etc. The battery needed replacing some months ago and I'm at the stage where I can't stand my own singing any more.
Please tell me what I should do - I don't want to have to sent it away if possible.
Many thanks
Tracy

Go back to purchasing garage, or if too far away, your nearest Fiat garage. Hopefully like other dealers they will have access to a central database of various codes for every Fiat car/model made, including key numbers, chassis numbers, and radio codes. You'll need proof of ownership though and quite possibly a utility bill as proof of address.

Thanks Dynamic Dave! Unfortunately, my nearest garage that could help said that they will need to send the radio off as they can't download it so probably c'est la vie eh?
Thanks again. Tracy

Lily, forgive me, but if the radio isn't working anyway, what is the problem in letting the garage send it off for repair?

Take some singing lessons ;)
Seriously, Dave is probably right. I did exactly the same for my Xantia over the phone. All they needed was the chassis number and reg number.
Best of luck!
