The Mechanical Guru who works on the firm\'s Cavalier has a Mitsubishi pick up X plate. Air Con has packed up and a new matrix thingy has been diagnosed. Mitsubishi want an arm and a leg...he has identified it as being made by Axel, Axil or Axle. An Internet search has proved fruitless any ideas ?

I don\'t read german, but as a minimum it seemed enough of a coincidence finding \"mitsubishi\", \"aircon\" and \"axel\" on a single page that I thought it worth mentioning.

Could be a total red herring though....

It's about installing air conditioning into the editorial offices of the Axel Springer Verlag AG, a German media company. I didn't read down for references to pick up trucks, but I dount I'd find any.

not desperately relevant then. Oh well.

I assume you are talking about the condensor (in front of the radiator)? I think they're made in Argentina. If you let us know the model, age, engine size etc, I may be able to source one for you. The company I get most of the my parts from designed many of the Mitsu systems for UK cars, as they differ from the Jap versions, as they're designed to be fitted at the dealer here in the UK. I'm such a good customer of theirs (so they say), that I can sometimes get good prices on items they would only normally sell as part of a kit to Mitsubishi.
