Poor picture - is it a Boxster ?
Might it be a Lexus SC430?
Merc AMG?
It is a Lexus (You can confirm by clicking on it!!)
Clicking on it and reading the article would have given you a clue.
However, it certainly is pretty.

I beg to differ, I think the SC430 is as ugly as sin, or possibly uglier.
It is a Lexus and as my freind who bought one without even seeing the car said " it is the ugliest car I have ever owned and I am gutted that I paid money for this rubbish, but it drives very well".
That will teach him to choose a car just by looking through sales hype.
Ha Ha
He lost a lot of money on the car as well.
For me Lexus can do no wrong,but...i think it's been hit with the ugly stick. In Japan its badged Toyota Soarer,(still looks sad though).
I beg to differ again, I think the Lexus is rather nice.
Perhaps not a classic, though.
For which, for instance, see:-

The lexus SC4300 is as ugly as hell in the flesh. The proportions are completely wrong. Shame because some of their cars, like the IS200, are very good looking.
I'm with those who think that the Lexus SC430 was crash tested by launching it into the ugly tree at 50 mph, sorry.
It may drive well but it still looks like the Martin Keown of the car world.
That's harsh. (On Martin Keown). This thing's pig ugly in the flesh. I liked the idea of a Lexus convertable before I saw it.
Am I being profoundly thick here? There isn't a pic or a link in the first posting here.

Lets just say that you're missing the obvious.
The arrow in the first note is pointing to the picture of the red car in the margin to your right, under the news banner, entitled Weekend's Best Deals at 29th June.
Whilst I'm on the subject, please look at our links. And if someone you know is looking for a car/etc. then please point them here to follow our links.

Thank you for your diplomacy....I'm off to have a lie down

I may be wrong about this, but when the Lexus sc430 was unveiled at the motor show - I'am sure it looked a lot better. I also saw it at the NEC a few years ago, and again it looked better - seemed to have better proportions.
It know looks like a CLK and Audi mismashed together.
Very ugly indeed.
Had they changed anything when it the model was launched?
I was surpised by how many 2nd hand SC430s Lexus Woodford had the other day. Possibly some dissapointed owners?
Can't say I'd turn one down.....
"Can't say I'd turn one down....."
Not the test though is it? Now say you were offered one of those OR the Merc equivalent.
Your witness....your honour.
I'd have the Lexus. Too many Mercs about and I'm *delighted* with my IS200.
"I'm *delighted* with my IS200" Not an uncommon car itself I would have thought, anyway back to the question.
You would choose the Lexus drop top over the new CLK equiv would you?
Merc SL, without a doubt. Or even a SLK 32 AMG.
The Lexus has been severely beaten with the ugly stick. Lexi are for drug dealers and Alan Partridge.
