Hi chaps

I have recently had my cat ripped out :(. Could somebody help me list out the parts I'm going to need?

I'm going to need lambda sensors, downpipe/frontpipe, ofc. a cat and perhaps midsection of exhaust?! (unsure if links are allowed, so forgive me if not. I'm not sure this is the correct place for purchasing advice if that's the case!)

I'm currently without a jack or jackstands, so I'll need to buy those too. Can anybody comment on the reliability of the parts I've linked? Cheap? Keep in mind, the car is worth £1500 on a good day. It has 100k miles and knowing my luck, the clutch will go after this too!

Hi Jamie

I know how you feel about your part being stolen . It happened to me as well.
Are you going to fabricate something to join the pipe that goes to the back of the car to the
Catalytic converter? I.e weld a sleeve around the existing pipe?

As that’s what I am thinking of doing?

Hi Pierre

Yeah, that's what I ended up doing. I measured the pipe and just asked a local company to weld a 3 bolt-flange to a short pipe section and then used exhaust gum and clamps to get it all back together. The sensors were a completely different issue. I had electrical problems which took me a long time to solve. Backprobing, tracing shorts to grounds, EML that wouldn't disappear---it wasn't much fun. Fixed it all in the end though. I think it was £180 all in, so much cheaper than a garage/claiming on insurance.

Hopefully yours was easier!
