The S/N M081888 should have the code

4971.

If you are clear your serial number is correct, then there's a fault with the radio and no-one here can help. If there's any doubt about the S/N, pull the radio out of the dashboard until you can see the label.

If the radio is faulty, your cheapest option is probably to replace it.
