Hi,

Does anybody have the facility to track down a radio code for my aged Astras CDR500 for free?

My local Vauxhall dealer wants £22, which probably isnt unreasonable, and there are online cost options.

For anyone to help , you are going to need the model type and serial number from the radio casing . The unit needs to be taken out to access this info .

Whilst I enjoy a good wihistle and a bit of hum, I am missing the radio and my CDs, so the code would be very welcome!

Sorry, this model not on my data base. So it’s main dealer or flea bay .

Okay. Thanks for letting me know.

I've just purchased a harness adaptor and basic radio from flea bay. Cheaper than getting a code from Vauxhall, and at least I know my new radio will work unlike the existing unproven unit.
